I realise I am not alone in this situation...seems everyone is the same!! where does it end? Well, I am making some decisions...I am not going to post as often on my blog...sorry guys..i am finding that with blogs, facebooks, websites, work, and family its all a bit much really..and after being sick..its time to take stock and say NO..to some things....Anyhoo, that said, I had a wonderful couple of weeks just gone, and had a great time. I am so thrilled to be on the mend, and "almost normal" hahah. well, some might debate that...
I visited Melbourne on the 13th/14th to see Dwight Yoakam and Lee Kernaghan at the Palais Theatre..We had a great night...(Laurissa's partner Dave) and myself....Lee was wonderful...I have seen him many times, but finally got to meet him so was a tad star struck.. For my American friends..he is one of Australias' best country artists..(THE best to me) lol
I returned last Thursday to Melbourne to spend some time with my daughter Laurissa, Dave and of course to go to quilt Market on Saturday..Friday, Laurissa and myself went to Olinda, Sassafrass and gorgeous little stores !! We have not done the mother/daughter shopping lunch thing for ages, and we had a lovely lovely day! The shopping , the weather and the company was lovely, thank you rissa! I cant show you my shopping as they were all christmas gifts!!
On saturday, I spent the whole day, and I mean the whole day in Melbourne city...whew...first I met my friend Muffy..we met in quiltchat 14 years ago...and so we caught up for coffee..which was great..then onto market!! I was like a kid in a candy store..omg.....let me loose!! 5 hours later, I still had not made the last Isle for goodness sakes!!!!

Glad that you are doing some things that you really love and letting some things take a back seat, that can. I agree Pauline, we just have SO much to fit into each day, how does that happe? I cant remember my Mum flying around like this and she woked night shifts as a nurse, so it wasnt like she sat at home every day twiddling her thumbs!
